We will have a 2 Round NFL Rookie Draft every July after the week of the 4th(TBD).
It will be done here on the Forum under the (YR) NFL Rookie Draft.
Each Round will have it's own Thread, with Listed Draft Order.
Each pick will have a 12 hour window to be completed, if missed it can be made up at any time before the end of the draft.
All Rookie Draft picks are automatically placed onto your team's Taxi Squad. The Taxi Squad will only consist of players drafted in the Rookie Draft or players from your franchise's actual Draft picks. You Will have until the end of June to post your signed NFL franchise draft picks.
Rookie Contracts are Guaranteed for 4 years, after which they will be available in the following year's Off-Season Free Agency. While on the Taxi squad their contract will not count against your team's salary cap numbers for the season.
Once you call up a Taxi Squad player their contract becomes guaranteed for it's signed duration, no exceptions.
Teams will have the right to match their Rookie Draft picks(traded players also retain their rights with their new CFFL team) contract offer in Free Agency, you'll have 72 hours to reply your decision to Match the Winning bid or lose said player with no compensation. This is a one time right only. After a second contract expires they'll become unrestricted Free Agents with no compensation for them.
